Android Microsoft account sign-in fails with Error Code: Drowned after

After updating Minecraft Bedrock to version 26.45, I can no longer sign into my Microsoft account on Android. Microsoft sign-in was working before the update

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Minecraft on Android

2. Select Sian In from the main screen or Settings > Account

3. Minecraft displays "Microsoft account - Connecting.."

4. The Microsoft authentication does not complete.

5. Minecraft displays "Failed to login" with Error Code: Drowned

Expected result: Minecraft should authenticate mv Microsoft account and load my Xbox/Minecraft profile

Actual result: Minecraft remains on "Connecting..." and eventually fails with Error Code: Drowned

My Microsoft account itself is working. I can successfully sign into the same account through the Xbox app and Xbox website, and my Xbox profile shows Online.

I have already cleared Minecraft cache/data, verified supported links are enabled, updated and reset Android Svstem WebView and Chrome, restarted the device, tried startino Minecraft offline and reconnecting, enabled Remote Connect and restarted Minecraft. and completely uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft. The problem persists.

Remote Connect also does not produce a code or alternate Microsoft loain screen after enabling it and rest Minecraft
