Cushions break when pushed upward by a block pushed by a piston

1. place a piston facing up

2. place a solid block on the piston head

3. place a cushion on the block

4. power the piston so it pushes the block which pushes the cushion

what happens:

cushion breaks

what should happen:

cushion should be pushed up by the block without breaking; cushions are supposed to be pushable by by blocks.

this has changed since cushions were first released and now my redstone cushion elevators are broken
