Cushion Item Displays are no longer due able

I designed a cool build trick using the cushion and an item frame, when you place a bell on the floor, an item frame on the bell, an item of choice, and then finally you place the cushion on top. This would result in the item being displayed on top the cushion, but in the latest release you can still do this, but the border of the item frame can be seen on top of the cushion as well. I don’t know when it got changed or what version, but I would like this feature back due to java having invisible item frames via commands or data packs. Now this is less a bug and more of a request to revert the cushion back to a state where this can be done. Another way to fix this build hack would be to edit the item frame model by taking the frame and literally just moving it down a decimal of a pixel or two. This build hack is included on YouTube via a popular channel Sit Back and Minecraft, and I would love to be able to still make this hack possible, I understand if this is bit of a push, I know some of my reports have been, but please consider this one small change to have our cushion item frames looking pretty.
