Pressing any button in the main menu except for skins and marketplace causes ui to disappear

After manually updating to the recent 26.50 update I discovered couldn’t get past the main menu. Before loading into the menu the screen goes black instead of the usual loading screen.

Tapping on any button other than the skins and marketplace causes the ui to disappear, with only the backdrop visible. The marketplace menu freezes the entire game.

When entering the worlds menu the ui is invisible, although I’m still able to interact with it and enter a world, but I seem to only have access to 2 of them. Seemingly items with custom patterns (such as banners and decorated shields) are invisible in my inventory, as well as the interact buttons and the ui at the top of the screen

All skins are also invisible and I get an error message saying “a local platform skin could not be loaded.” Moving the screen or the player causes the skin to appear briefly

Closing and reopening Minecraft does nothing.
