Android: Chat closes automatically when touching the screen in Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.50

After updating Minecraft Bedrock to version 1.26.50, I am unable to properly use the in-game chat on Android devices.

When I open the chat and type a message or command, the chat window automatically closes as soon as I tap somewhere on the screen. This also happens when I try to tap the Send button.

Because the chat closes before the message can be sent, I cannot communicate with my friends through chat. I also cannot properly execute commands because commands cannot be sent through the c
