After updating Minecraft Bedrock to version 26.51, I started experiencing severe performance and rendering problems that did not occur before the update.
The problems happen even in completely new worlds and with only 5 render distance chunks.
I repeatedly get this message:
"At least one of your resource or behaviour packs failed to load."
I have no custom resource packs or behaviour packs enabled. Only the default Minecraft texture pack is present.
I also experience:
Severe lag/stuttering even at 5 chunks.
Chunks sometimes fail to render correctly.
Large holes/areas where terrain is missing or appears black/white.
The problem occurs in newly created worlds.
The problem started immediately after updating to 26.51.
Before the update, Minecraft Bedrock worked normally on the same PC.
Steps to reproduce:
Update Minecraft Bedrock to 26.51.
Create a new world.
Set render distance to 5 chunks.
Do not enable any custom resource or behaviour packs.
Enter the world.
Observe the resource/behaviour pack error and chunk rendering/performance problems.
Expected result:
The default Minecraft resource pack should load normally and newly generated chunks should render correctly without severe stuttering.
Actual result:
The game reports that a resource or behaviour pack failed to load, chunks fail to render correctly, and the game experiences severe stuttering even at very low render distance.
