Nether portal disappears if entered into the Nether

Our nether portal dissappeared when we entered the nether, not even the obsidian frame!, we rejoined the world multiple times and it won't fix even in creative, if we built the portal in the nether it would lead us to a different place, we also tried to build it in different locations but it would still spawn us in the same coords/place
