Poplar logs only have the minecraft:is_axe_item_destructible and wood tags, but are missing the log tag. Poplar saplings are missing the plant tag. This isn’t new, these tags are also missing from Cherry logs and saplings, and Mangrove logs and propagules.
Keeping the tags consistent means that add-on authors can define behaviour in terms of these tags and don’t need to update and rebuild their add-on every time new vanilla blocks are added.
