Sunken Shipwreck Trapdoor Bug

When I tried to use a trapdoor that was on a sunken shipwreck it would not move when I used it from the corner of the sand nearby, but when I stood on it and tried it only then worked for the time I was on it, then if I went back to the corner, it glitched again.
