Vibrant Visuals causes the daytime sky to appear dark gray/black instead of the normal blue sky.
Steps to reproduce:
Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Windows.
Load or create an Overworld world during daytime.
Enable Vibrant Visuals.
Look at the daytime sky.
Expected result:
The daytime sky should appear normally blue.
Actual result:
The daytime sky appears very dark gray/black when Vibrant Visuals is enabled.
Troubleshooting I tried:
Updated my AMD graphics driver through HP.
Changed Bloom to 0%.
Lowered/disabled Volumetric Fog.
Changed the Vibrant Visuals resolution setting.
Updated Minecraft to the latest version available to me.
Fancy graphics does not have this problem.
Additional information:
I discovered that installing a sky-cube texture pack makes the sky immediately render normally. When I remove the sky-cube pack, the dark sky returns. No other resource packs are being used.
This appears to be related to the default Vibrant Visuals sky/cubemap rendering on my AMD Radeon Vega 3 graphics.
