Since the 26.50 update, a Fishing Rod can no longer be equipped to an Armor Stand.
The interaction button "Equip" ("Anlegen" in German) is displayed when holding a Fishing Rod and targeting an Armor Stand with arms, but pressing the button does not equip the Fishing Rod.
Other items, such as a sword, can still be equipped to the same Armor Stand normally.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a new Bedrock Edition 26.51.1 world in Creative mode.
Make sure no resource packs are enabled.
Place an Armor Stand with arms.
Hold a Fishing Rod.
Aim at the Armor Stand.
Press the "Equip" / "Anlegen" interaction button.
Expected result:
The Fishing Rod should be equipped in the Armor Stand's hand.
Actual result:
The "Equip" / "Anlegen" button is displayed, but the Fishing Rod is not equipped. Nothing happens.
Additional testing:
Tested in a completely new world.
Tested in Creative mode.
All resource packs were disabled.
Minecraft was completely restarted before testing.
The Armor Stand has arms and its poses can be changed normally.
A sword can be equipped to the same Armor Stand without problems.
Replacing a sword with a Fishing Rod is also not possible.
This appears to be specific to the interaction between Fishing Rods and Armor Stands.
I could not find a documented change in the 26.50 or 26.51 changelogs stating that Fishing Rods are no longer supposed to be equipable to Armor Stands.
