[Bedrock 26.51] Abandoned Camp Explorer Map points to a nonexistent camp in a newly created world

Title

[Bedrock 26.51] Abandoned Camp Explorer Map points to a nonexistent camp in a newly created world

Description

Version: Minecraft Bedrock Edition 26.51
Seed: 4078048675291977645
Affected coordinates: Approximately X: -2944, Z: 2109

I created the affected world directly in Bedrock Edition 26.51. It was not created in an older version and later upgraded.

I obtained an Explorer Map from an Abandoned Camp and followed it to the marked destination. However, there was no Abandoned Camp at the location indicated by the map.

To make sure the camp was not buried underground or hidden by terrain, I created a copy of the affected world, enabled cheats, and thoroughly inspected the area. I also checked underground down to Y=-64. No Abandoned Camp was present.

I then created a completely new world in Bedrock Edition 26.51 using the exact same seed (4078048675291977645) and traveled to the same coordinates.

In the newly generated world, an Abandoned Camp generated normally at approximately X: -2944, Z: 2109, exactly where the Explorer Map from the affected world points.

The surrounding terrain is also very similar between the two worlds. The notable difference is that the Abandoned Camp is completely absent in the affected world but is present at the same location in the newly generated world.

Both worlds were created in Bedrock Edition 26.51, so this does not appear to be caused by chunks having been generated in an older Minecraft version.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use Minecraft Bedrock Edition 26.51.

  2. Create a world using seed 4078048675291977645.

  3. Obtain an Explorer Map from an Abandoned Camp.

  4. Follow the map to the destination around X: -2944, Z: 2109.

  5. In the affected world, the map points to this location, but no Abandoned Camp is present.

  6. Create another new world in Bedrock Edition 26.51 using the same seed.

  7. Travel to approximately X: -2944, Z: 2109.

  8. Observe that an Abandoned Camp is present at this location in the newly generated world.

Expected Result

The Explorer Map should point to an Abandoned Camp that actually exists in the world.

Actual Result

The Explorer Map points to a location where no Abandoned Camp exists in the affected world. However, an Abandoned Camp generates at the same location when a new Bedrock Edition 26.51 world is created using the same seed.

Additional Information

I verified the location in a copy of the affected world with cheats enabled and checked underground down to Y=-64. The camp is not buried or hidden; the structure is completely absent.

I have attached screenshots comparing the same location in both worlds:

  • Screenshot 1: Newly generated world using the same seed — an Abandoned Camp is present at approximately X: -2944, Y: 92, Z: 2109.

  • Screenshot 2: Affected world — at approximately X: -2944, Y: 89, Z: 2108, the Explorer Map points to this location, but the Abandoned Camp is absent.

Note: English is not my first language, so I used ChatGPT to help write and translate this bug report. I apologize if any wording is unclear, and I appreciate your understanding.
