Android: Showing the system navigation bar closes the chat screen

Minecraft Beta/Preview was also tested, and the same issue occurs.

I am experiencing a problem with the chat interface and Android system navigation.

When I open the Minecraft chat, the Android system navigation bar is hidden. If I try to reveal the Android navigation bar while the chat is open, Minecraft closes the chat interface.

This happens with both Android gesture navigation and 3-button navigation.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition on an Android device.

2. Enter any world.

3. Open the in-game chat.

4. Make sure the Android system navigation bar is hidden.

5. Try to reveal the Android system navigation bar while the chat is open.

6. Observe that the Minecraft chat interface closes.

Expected result:

The Android system navigation bar should appear without closing the Minecraft chat interface. The chat should remain open until the player intentionally closes it.

Actual result:

Minecraft closes the chat interface when the Android system navigation bar is revealed.

Additional information:

The keyboard itself works correctly in Minecraft and in other applications.

I also tested:

- A newly created world.

- Gboard in other applications.

- Clearing Minecraft's cache.

- Android gesture navigation.

- Android 3-button navigation.

- Accessibility settings.

- Minecraft Beta/Preview through Google Play.

The issue remained the same in the Beta/Preview version.

There is also a related chat input problem: while Gboard is open, pressing Enter does not send the command, and pressing Gboard's send arrow closes the chat instead of sending it. If I open Gboard's settings using the gear icon, the keyboard disappears and Minecraft then allows me to execute the command.

This makes me suspect that Minecraft is incorrectly handling Android's keyboard/input focus and system navigation while the chat interface is open.
