Washed out block colors and overbrightened textures in Bedrock

Recent updates have significantly altered the global rendering and lighting engine in Bedrock Edition. All block textures across the entire game now appear severely washed out, desaturated, and artificially brightened.

While this color degradation affects all blocks, it is most prominent on grass blocks and foliage, where the rich, vibrant green palette has shifted to a flat, pale yellowish-green tint.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open any world in the current Bedrock version.

Compare the global block colors (specifically grass, foliage, and ambient shadows) with screenshots from previous versions.

Observe that all block textures have lost contrast and saturation, regardless of in-game brightness settings.

Observed Results:

The entire world looks washed out, pastel-like, and overbrightened. Deep darkness in unlit areas is missing, and block colors lack contrast.

Expected Results:

Block textures should maintain their classic, rich color saturation and contrast as in earlier versions.

Note on Version: The bug was observed on version 26.52. Since this exact version is not yet available in the system drop-down menu, I selected version 26.50 instead.
