LAN Worlds aren't showing up even when connected to the same network

I want to play on a shared world with my friend, we are on the same network and 3-4 meters apart irl - while playing - but the world she’s on isn’t appearing in the world list. How do I fix this? ‘LAN’ worlds from servers have been showing up.
