Game freezes after 10 secs of opening

Minecraft 26.52 freezes 5–10 seconds after reaching the main menu on iPad Pro M4

Description:

Minecraft opens normally and reaches the main menu, but about 5–10 seconds later the entire Minecraft app becomes completely unresponsive. The rest of the iPad continues working normally.

Device: iPad Pro M4 (iPad16,6)
OS: iPadOS 27.0 (24A437)
Minecraft: Bedrock 26.52

The issue happens every time I open Minecraft.

I have tried:

• Reinstalling Minecraft

• Restarting the iPad

• Signing out of my Microsoft account

• Airplane Mode

• Turning Wi-Fi completely off

• Turning cellular data off

• Deleting options.txt

• Limiting the iPad refresh rate to 60 Hz

None of these permanently fixed the issue.

A fresh installation can work on the first launch, but after closing and reopening Minecraft, the same freeze returns.

The freeze also happens with Wi-Fi and cellular data completely disabled, so it does not appear to depend on an internet connection.

The iPad itself remains completely responsive while Minecraft is frozen.

This is still happening on 26.52, even though the 26.52 hotfix addressed some iOS launch crashes.
