Game gets stuck on "Loading Terrain" when paused during a dimension change

Problem Description

The game can become stuck on the "Loading Terrain / Building Terrain" screen when the player is paused immediately before a dimension transition.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start a single-player world in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition 26.52.

2. Begin changing dimensions using a Nether Portal or another method.

3. Rapidly press the Esc key repeatedly during the dimension transition, so that the game is paused immediately before the loading screen transition occurs.

4. The Pause Menu does not appear, and the game becomes stuck on "Loading Terrain / Building Terrain."

Expected Result

The game should either pause normally or continue the dimension transition without becoming stuck.

Actual Result

The Pause Menu does not appear, and the game becomes stuck on "Loading Terrain / Building Terrain." Restarting the game allows the world to load normally, but repeating the same procedure causes the issue to occur again.
