Tridents disappearing in trident killers

I have now had 4 occasions of thrown tridents disappearing after going to the nether, unloading chunks, etc. I’ve had an occasion where I have found my tridents a few blocks under their dedicated position. It appears they may be falling through the world when chunks are loaded/unloaded. They disappear in both piston and trapdoor trident killers.

Multiple occasions of single ones falling through

One occasion of ALL 4 OF MY IMPALING V TRIDENTS JUST GONE!!!!!!
