Shadows in cave houses

I built a house in a cave in Minecraft and for some reason with the vibrant visuals on the ceiling is completely black. I’ve submitted this issue before months ago but it is still an issue. I’m fairly certain it is a shader issue, because when I turned vibrant visuals off the ceiling was visible.
