Cobblestone texture becomes excessively blurred at short viewing distances on iPad

Cobblestone textures become excessively blurred at relatively short viewing distances. At close range, the cobblestone texture appears normal and detailed. After moving farther away, the texture rapidly loses detail and develops obvious gray striped/grid-like patterns.

2. Place a large area of cobblestone blocks.

3. Observe the cobblestone at close range.

4. Move farther away while continuing to look at the cobblestone.

5. Observe the texture at different viewing distances.

Expected result:
The cobblestone texture should remain recognizable and retain appropriate detail at normal viewing distances.

Actual result:
