Screamer goats don't breed other screaming goats

Breeding screamer goats with each other does not result in a screamer goat. Or if it does result in a screamer goat, the % chance is much lower than it should be.

The Minecraft wikipedia states that in bedrock edition there is a 98% chance of two screaming goats to have a screaming goat baby. I bred several screaming goats together and of the 14 children none of them were screaming goats.

Process:

  • I started a new creative super flat world in peaceful mode

  • I spawned several goats (using the goat spawn egg) and then used the /event command (I used this command: /event entity @e[type=goat] Minecraft:born_screamer) to turn them all into screaming goats

  • I bred these screaming goats making 14 baby goats

  • I separated the babies into two separate groups, I fed half of them wheat to grow them up instantly, and let the other half grow up naturally (no commands, just waiting 20 minutes). This was done in case how they grew up effected their ability to be a screamer goat

Expected result: some of these goats should be screamer goats, as there is a 98% chance for screamer goats to breed other screamer goats

Actual result: none of the goats were screamer goats, all were regular goats

Baby screamer goats also scream like the adult ones do (I used the /event command to turn one of the baby ones into a screamer goat as well), and none of the baby goats I bred ever made any screaming noises before or after they grew up. Before conducting this specific experiment I did this with at least 7 other babies bred by two screamer goats, and the result was the same.
