Error updating an add-on/map in the marketplace

When attempting to update an add-on in Minecraft, an unexpected error occurs. Other add-ons and maps on the page display a "downloading" bar, which then shifts to a download progress bar with no percentage indicator; it becomes impossible to leave the page, as it freezes—the only solution is to force-close the page.
