Minecraft Bedrock Edition1.26.52.3 Repeated Random Crashes on Windows 11 (Exception Code 0xc0000005)

Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.52.3 – Frequent Crashes on Windows 11 (0xc0000005)

Description

Minecraft Bedrock Edition repeatedly freezes and crashes to the desktop on my Windows 11 PC.

The crashes occur randomly. Sometimes the game runs for several minutes, while other times it crashes within five seconds of spawning into a world.

Initially, I suspected a problem with Minecraft Realms or chunk loading, as crashes frequently occurred while exploring. However, the same issue also occurs in singleplayer worlds, including previously explored areas.

The game usually freezes briefly before closing without an in-game error message.

Windows Reliability Monitor consistently reports MoAppCrash with exception code 0xc0000005.

Minecraft Java Edition and other games work normally on the same computer.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

  2. Enter a singleplayer world or Minecraft Realm.

Actual Result

Minecraft Bedrock repeatedly freezes and closes unexpectedly, regardless of whether I play singleplayer or Realms.

The issue persists after reinstalling Minecraft, repairing Windows system files, repairing Xbox Gaming Services, resetting Minecraft settings, and disabling various graphics features.

Windows consistently reports exception code 0xc0000005.

Additional Information

Given that Minecraft Java Edition and other games work correctly, this may be a Bedrock-specific software or compatibility issue involving Windows 11, DirectX, or NVIDIA drivers.

The exact cause remains unknown.

I would appreciate clarification on whether this is a known issue in Bedrock and whether a workaround or fix is available.

Screenshots of the Windows crash reports can be provided.

Thank you for investigating this issue.
