Minecraft for Windows freezes at 73–77% after updating

Hi Minecraft Support,

I previously had an issue where Minecraft for Windows (Bedrock Edition) was stuck on version 26.52, and I couldn’t update it through the Microsoft Store.

I was eventually able to update Minecraft using the official Minecraft Launcher. However, the startup issue still persists.

Current issue:

• Minecraft now launches using the updated version, but freezes at approximately 73–77% during startup.

• The same issue occurred when I tried launching through Oderso Client (version 26.60) and Flarial Client.

• Sometimes Minecraft freezes at a different percentage.

• Updating through the Microsoft Store did not work, so I had to use the official Minecraft Launcher.

I have important worlds, resource packs, behavior packs, and other files that I don’t want to lose. I would like help identifying the cause of the startup freeze and resolving it without uninstalling Minecraft or deleting my existing files.

Could you please provide troubleshooting steps that preserve my existing Minecraft data?
