Inbox hangs when loading messages

First discovered on Nintendo Switch 1 Editions, also occurring on Bedrock PC. I open the Inbox on the main menu and no messages load. Circle on side bar spins forever. Switch 1 version does it whether logged in to a MS account or not, on multiple profiles.
