Missing chunks in new world

When I create a new world on this version of minecraft on my switch 2 console, random chunks appear to be unloaded or missing with any mobs or blocks inside the affected area seem to be not affected by my interactions. Effectively there are some chunks missing in my newly purchased version. This doesn't appear on my ps4 version but appears on the Nintendo switch 2.
