I am experiencing a problem with the crafting interface in Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Android.
When I open the crafting recipe book and select an ingredient that I do not have in my inventory, its name does not appear. The tooltip is completely missing.
However, ingredients that I already have in my inventory display their names correc1. Open a world in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
2. Open a crafting table.
3. Open the recipe book.
4. Select a recipe that requires ingredients you do not have.
5. Tap an unavailable ingredient.
Actual result:
The ingredient's icon is visible, but its name and tooltip do not appear.
Expected result:
The name of the ingredient should appear when selecting it, even if the player does not have it.
Environment:
- Game: Minecraft Bedrock Edition
- Version: 26.60
- Platform: Android
- Language: Brazilian Portuguese
- Interface profiles tested: Pocket and Classic
- Control modes tested: Joystick and touch controls
- The issue also occurs in worlds without add-ons.
