Vines invisible

i have some add ons in my world which i guess nothing really too intense , but recently after building some things after the new update, all my vines are invisible on the surfaces of blocks but hanging from them or to the roof of the block they are visible, it says the block is still there but you can’t see it so now all my builds look really plain and weird and patchy, and i can’t place any blocks without pouring water all over my world to delete the invisible vines which is basically impossible because they are up in tree canopies and cracks etc, the packs were not affecting the worlds before and i don’t have experiments or anything turned on, just all of a sudden the vines all went invisible.
