Minecraft Bedrock 26.60 – UI freezes when joining a multiplayer server on Android

When attempting to join my FreeMcServer multiplayer server on Minecraft Bedrock 26.60 (Android), a Back button appears in the centre of the screen. After pressing it or waiting, the game gets stuck on the rotating main-menu background. The background continues rotating and the menu music keeps playing, but all menu buttons disappear and the game becomes completely unresponsive to touch input. Other multiplayer servers work normally on my device, and another player can successfully join the same server. Similar issues have been reported by Windows and iOS players. This may be an Android client-side bug.
