Short Description: During world creation, attempting to apply the Super Mario Mash-up Pack’s Texture Pack whilst enabling Education Edition Features forces the Texture Pack to fail to load.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to the Marketppace and download the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack.
Create a new world and enable the Texture Pack under the Resource Packs tab, or create the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack’s World.
Set the gamemode to Creative inder the General tab.
Enable the Minecraft Education features toggle under the Cheats tab.
Create the world.
Expected Result: the world loads with the Super Mario Mash-up Pack’s Textures, and the Education Edition items are accessible in the Creative Inventory.
Actual Result: The world loads with Vanilla Textures.
This appears to happen due to the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack not allowing itself to load when other Resource Packs are enabled, however this also occurs with the Education Edition toggle. The only difference here is the Education edition toggle is a permanent toggle, meaning the world can no longer use the Texture Pack at all, which seems to be a big oversight.
