I built a house, I'm growing pumpkins and wheat and I created pens for chickens and sheep. Whenever I feed the chicken some seed or I feed the sheep some hay, one of my tools disappear. First it was my enchanted shovel, then my enchanted sword, then my enchanted bow. After the third time a tool disappeared I stopped playing this world but I'm hesitant to create a new one in case this happens again. It this a known issue? Thanks.

Add me to this issue as well. I lost an enchanted diamond sword and my "god bow". Switched to stone to prevent losing good stuff and lost those too.
This is a known issue and is being tracked on MCPE-18617. I have the same problem and changing worlds does not fix it.
Try keeping something that is not valuable in your 1st hotbar spot. That seems to be what is replaced for me. Also, if you save and quit then close the game sometimes when it reloads the item lost will be back but this does not work 100% of the time

I am having the same issue, going through iron swords like crazy. I don't know whether this is related, but several times after I have lost something a slot is filled by a duplicate of what I had in another slot; so, I might lose a sword but find 2 slots with 20 bones when I only had 20 total before.
