Redstone compatability

When I first started using redstone on "minecraft xbox one edition", I was happy with what I had at the time but now as we swich over to the "bedrock edition" in the better together update, redstone functions far differently than the original verstion, and to be precise, I'm not satisfied with it.. Things like no quasi-connectivity, redstone connecting to pistons, repeaters/comparaters not powering blocks, general comparater functionality not the same, repeater timings not the same.. I'm uncertain if I want this whole update and it's unification, if what I have on our current console port is better to me and other redstoners..

Can you guys atleast consider this message and share your thoughts? That would be splendid
