Snow golems are staring at cobblestone walls.

I have recently created a snow golem and it was perfectly fine until I saw that he started to move to the edge of my base. My golem proceeded to stay at that exact same spot just staring at the wall and I could see his “original face” (Snowman face _{f Easter egg face}) because he was staring down. Besides that I went to mine the cobblestone wall because I thought he wanted to leave, BUT I saw him go out the instance I mined it and I was confused because he randomly went out and WENT BACK IN my base to the exact same spot.So he just stayed there.I experimented and did it to all my new snow golems and they did the exact same thing in diffferent corners of my base.
