* * I do not know if this is the correct Bug Tracker for the new cross-platform Minecraft that was relased on 09/2017. If this is not, please direct me to the correct URL and I will gladly open a ticket there. Thanks. * * *
My family has played Minecraft for years - first on XBox 360, then Xbox One and now we are trying out the new release of the cross-platform edition: MINECRAFT (v1.2.1). We were shocked and confused by the loss of the "Exit without Saving" feature. The same goes with the inability to "Disable AutoSave". When we transitioned to XBox One Edition we were upset by the loss of being able to adjust how long betwen AutoSaves - but we set an external timmer and periodically saved the game manually. Now this ability is gone completely.
I can understand when gaming on someone else's server or realm, but when you are playing locally and/or multi-player locally with your kids - I do not undersand and/or see no reason why these features cannot be accessible (as it always has been with the XBox editions). Upset children is not worth playing the new version and it really should not matter to anyone else if we choose to not save the game.
Please Note: There is also no reason to file these features under "Cheats".
