In the XBox 360 and XBox One Editions all maps show the X, Y, Z coordinates at the top of the map (each map covering roughly 1024 x 1024 in blocks). When I created a "locator map" (the same way you make maps in the XBox Editions) there are no map coordinates displayed.
When I go under the Game Settings I see an option for "Show Coordinates", but this is listed under "Cheats" (which makes no sense). Having coordinates displayed on the map is not cosidered a 'Cheat' on the XBox Editions and I fail to see why enabling coordinates should negate achievements because none of them are map/coordinate related.
Maps are pretty worthless without the coordinates - esepcially since this world is now infinite - because navigating from place to place is nearly impossible unless you have the route memorized or marked. As it stands, if you get wrapped up in exploring and get lost, you have to start all over because you will most likely never find your way back to "home base". What is the point of having an infinite world if you have to be a nomad or never leave the area.
