Multiplayer not working for people on the same network

Hi Mojang,
Some of the amazon tablets in my house are not working with multiplayer properly. When I try to connect with my world on my computer by using local server multiplayer on my tablets, my world does not show up in the "Friends" section like it used to. It used to sometimes work, but now it never works no matter what I try. I have been having this issue since 1.2.0-present. It's pretty problematic, so I really recommend fixing it so players enjoy the game more. Thanks for reading this.
