The repeater has something wrong

The repeater does not activate the piston when placed above a block connected to the piston. See the image below to understand.
The worst is that this hinders the creation of portals in the MCPE !!! Please correct this right away, thank you. 😉
Note: The image with the grass is in the MCPE and the one with sandstone is in Minecraft Java.

Unfortunately this is not a bug it is because minecraft on the bedrock edition does not support quasi connectivity and so the repeater can not power the piston below. .
