The vines on trees are supposed to naturally despawn; however, as of now, the vines stay floating around whilst there is no more tree/leaves for the vines to hang on. I don’t know if this is meant to happen but I know one thing for sure, it definitely doesn’t make any sense for vines to just be floating in mid-air after the entire tree has despawned.
