Furnace problems

I was playing in survival with my brother and the furnace i made didn't allow me to put any fuel in it but it allowed me to put the burning item so i let my brother try and it still didn't work. I later tried to pick up the cooked item but i couldn't pick it up, i could only pick it up if i broke the furnace. So please fix this bug.
