This bug occurs in experimental mode of Minecraft 1.2.14; When in creative mode and in flying mode underwater if you activate swim mode by sprinting you will be stuck in swim mode and will be constantly be dragged down to the bottom of the body of water you're in and can only deactivate swim mode after deactivating fly mode.
