This issue was brought up in MCPE-31639 but was closed due to it being a duplicate even though the non-duplicate dose not at all talk about the issue that the duplicate brought up. Ive never been in this position before so I don’t know if I should create a new post or try to get the duplicate unduplicated. I thought that creating a new post is the best plan of action. If that is wrong please do let me know.
The issue is when trying to enchant the elytra in an anvil it dose not allow it to be enchanted. This is a major setback since my goal is to get max enchanted everything. To fight the Wither.
I have extensively checked the wiki and it claims that the only 2 enchantments that the elytra can have is unbreaking and mending. I sadly don’t have a mending book but I do an unbreaking. Please see the attached image further information.

However, this issue is Working as Intended.
You will need to insert the elytra in the first slot and use the second slot to apply the enchantment with a book.
