These screenshots look normal from the distance, but if you look closer, you can see some weird round, wavy shapes and stripes on the brick roof of the building.
Don't know if this is a glitch, because this also happens to PC Minecraft. To me, it looks really weird.

It's a visual effect called a "Moiré pattern."

Usually it can be avoided in OpenGL apps by generating mipmaps, not sure why they're so bad in PE (I've noticed them too).
So PC MC doesn't generate mipmaps; I guess the same thing goes for MCPE, so this probably works as intended.
Wooooow, didn't you just resolve almost every single issue as "PE is not the same as PC Minecraft, there are differences"?!
I've noticed it too. It's because the game has lower resolution than what most devices can handle, though it might still be noticeable with higher resolution, though a bit less.
