When i go to the Nintendo Switch main screen and enter Minecraftm, I can not hear any sound when I eat food.

I'm in the same boat.
Works fine when you first log in, but a little while after the eating sound gets softer until you can no longer hear it.
I'm having the same problem, but not only is there no eating sound, when finished eating it lets out a belch.
