The affected platforms and version does not involve pocket edition for mobile, which is where I’m having the problem in.
Hello, since the newest update of Minecraft Pocket Edition v1.6 i’ve been experiencing glitches both on my iPad and iPhone (so I know it’s not because of my device). They just randomly happen but they happen so often that it’s become an annoyance. Either I can’t break a block or item for a good 5 seconds or the game lags for 5-10 seconds. Again, I wouldn’t mind it if it wasn’t happening so often, about a 1-5 times every minute depending if I’m watching something or consistently breaking blocks or running somewhere or fighting an enemy.

It was glitchy for me too. I used an iPad 2 and every time I dragged my finger across the screen, the animation freezes for a fraction of a second, every .25 seconds. Does just fine when there's nothing in the 16 * 16 chunk. I hope this gets confirmed because I don't want to deal with this bug. Just wait for Klye's Response. It should say whether it can or cannot be confirmed and why...
I am having the exact same issue on my ipad.
If it loads (and often times it crashes during the load screen) then I can play for 0-10 minutes and the game crashes out.
This only started happening since the 1.6.0 update.

I had to switch off anything that increases rendering e.g. Fancy graphics, beautiful skies, smooth lighting etc. I can play but the experience is not as good. Awful, awful update with some new features removed, so many new bugs and the reappearance of some old ones!
