New version do not work at Windows 10 mobile

Same with Lumia 640XL Dual Sim. I bought the game last month but until now I haven't been able to play the game.

same here both on Lumia 640 and partners Lumia 650. In my case found that i get the Mojang and Minecraft Screens and the splash screen but as first menu screen is displayed the screen goes black - but get this the app actually continues running and if i tap where the buttons would be it actually displays secondary menu screens (e.g. Worlds or settings or store) - but if I try and load any worlds I see the loading progress but the app crashes a soon as the load completes. This seems like a display driver issue to me, but it's not easy to troubleshoot on a phone... Also have tried app reset and re-install after complete phone reset and everything in between...

On first load it will display the box asking me to sign in to live.

If I dismiss it it will display the 1.6.1 hotfix description and will go to a black screen once i click OK.

If I accept the suggestion to sign in to live (or have previously done so) it will display approximately one frame of animation of the splashscreen with the dolphin and then go to a black screen

If you look at the reviews on the Store page for the app it appears to be a pervasive problem that a lot of people are having.

Just updated to 1.7.13. Well done guys you have got rid of the black screen issue - now it just crashes straight away, every single time. Arggg.

Yep, same issue for me with new 1.7 version.   Gets to the same place as before but now crashes rather than a black screen.   Upon restart I get an error message saying "resources failed to load previously"

You  really have to wonder if they do any testing at all before putting out these releases.

I suppose this is progress - rather than leaving the app staggering blindly like a headless zombie, now it reports that the display driver was stopped functioning correctly and does the honourable thing and nukes the whole process... At least they haven't tried to be clever and get it to restart the app automatically when crashes...

Perhaps we looking at this the wrong way. Is there a single device that run Windows 10 Mobile that Minecraft does work on. I suspect that the list for that is much, much shorter, if not nonexistent. Come on dev's - sort it out please...!

Yesterday I made a factory reset on my Lumia 820 (with OS version 10.0.14393.2551). Then I installed the latest version of Minecraft 1.7 from Store. The application froze and crash down after the world is uploaded, look at the video on Youtube
