Watermelons and pumpkins do not grow on waterlogged blocks. If you plant a seed and it grows, no matter how long you wait, it will not grow on a waterlogged block. Maybe it is just a slap, because I have fully tested the issue, I got things to do, places to be. If it is just with all slaps, stairs, ect. Pumpkins and melons should grow on them anyway

Seems to be working as intended. Pumpkins and melons will only grow on dirt/grass/farmland. Since you were testing this with waterlogged blocks, the plant will not grow.
