I don't see anything wrong with the pig texture in the latest beta. Could you provide a photo or any steps to reproduce this issue?

it no longer occurs now, it was when I first loaded beta 1.8.0.10

XBox One 1.8.0.10. It happened across both survival and creative worlds, but just for pigs. Pigs would flicker from texture to texture, but never show the proper pig texture. (Also, spiders were invisible and only showed a circular shadow, as seen in images for MC-70444). 

Issue began with world load, so no steps to reproduce.

Starting a different game and then restarting Minecraft resolved the issue.

Also noticed this issue when you put a saddle on the pig
