When I go on the shop it says, "we are unable to connect to the store maybe check your internet connection?" and my internet bar is full or one gone but achievements load often but not all the time. and this has happend for a little while.

In newer versions this was fixed. If you still encounter this bug, just exit out and try again. Works for me, at least.

Same issue on Xbox One platform. Internet is active, I can make purchases on other games, minecraft will not let me buy minecraft coins nor mods. It explains "check internet connection" however, we have full connection, logged into xbox one, etc.

Same problem here on XB1 for at least a couple days now. Can't renew my realm, can't purchase anything from the Minecraft Store. I get the exact same error message, “Sorry, we were unable to complete your purchase. Maybe check your internet connection?”. My internet connection is fine. Other, non-Minecraft purchases from the Microsoft store are fine.
I wonder if this has something to do with the beta that was accidentally rolled out to me on XB1, then resolved with the 1.11.0 or 1.11.1 release (???)
