Blocks are placed after you hit the chat button

What I expected to happen was...:
Blocks could not be placed by hitting the chat button.

What actually happened was...:
The block was placed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a block in your hand (I think it works with other items too)
2. Make sure that the chat button is on a block surface
3. Hit the chat button
4. The block was placed
