Structure block not working on MCPE 1.8.24 android

The structure block simply does not work when i try to tap on it on my phone. Tried using a mouse still doesn't work. Playing on a creative flat world with default in-game and gamerule settings cheat activated. It is word that in the patch notes of 1.5 bedrock aquatic update they said that structure blocks are fully functional so why the heck doesnt it work! on my Xiaomi Mi Max 2/MIUI 9.6
